The Company’s main location has been expanded by an additional building on the company’s ground upon the Roda. The commercial staff began moving in after contruction was completed.
With this investment in the expansion of the Thuringian premises, the global player, Allied Vision, not only aims to create a new store sign, but also to expand the production capacity in order to meet the rising demand of machine vision cameras. Moreover, the new office space will accommodate Allied Vision's increasing number of employees.
Stadtroda as manufacturing flagship
The new office building was built directly next to the existing administrative building and provides additional space of 820 square meters within three stories. Offices housed in the current production building will be moved into new building. The camera manufacturer will also use this supplementary space for further expansion of production capacity. The new building and the production building will be connected by a covered passage.
In addition to Stadtroda, Allied Vision has production locations in Osnabrück and Burnaby, Canada. The Osnabrück site was modernized in 2012. In 2014, the capacities of the Burnaby site were enlarged. Production and administrative employees settled the larger, modern building.
Additional capacity to face growing demand
The additional production capacity was built to address the fast-paced growth of the company in the worldwide machine vision market. Again, sales of Allied Vision’s industrial and scientific cameras broke records, both in volume and revenues, in the first half of 2015.
“With this important expansion, we have provided an additional foundation for our growth strategy 2020”, Frank Grube, President and CEO of Allied Vision Technologies GmbH stated expressing his satisfaction about the completion of the construction work.
